Highway Heavy Construction Project Manager / Estimator

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project management. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

- Manage all contract and project documents

- Create, manage and update CPM schedules to meet deadlines

- Oversee the supervision of field operations

- Analyze plans, specifications, and proposals

- Perform quantity takeoffs

- Schedule and manage subcontractors and material suppliers

- Manage vendor solicitation and DBE compliance

- Analyze subcontract quotes and prepare documents

- Analyze and understand project requirements and risks

Seeking an individual with three years experience in highway / heavy construction with previous supervisory or leadership experience managing multiple projects. Good Planning and organization skills and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of CPM scheduling. Employee and customer relation skills and the ability to coordinate several tasks at once are required. Knowledge of civil construction practices, methods and materials.Company Description
