Overview:

Join our dedicated team at this Correctional Facility as a Clinical Psychologist. This vital role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to inmates, promoting mental health, rehabilitation, and public safety. Qualifications:

Must possess a current, valid license as a Clinical Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology.

At least 12 continuous months of clinical psychology experience within the past 3 years (excluding internships and practicums).

Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is essential for effective documentation and communication.

Responsibilities:

Provide psychological evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized treatment planning under the direction of the Chief Psychologist or appropriate supervisory staff.

Conduct individual and group psychotherapy, including crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments.

Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, including IOTT (Interdisciplinary Treatment Team) meetings.

Complete mental status examinations, review case files, and interpret psychological testing and diagnostic results.

Document services provided in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.

Support inmate transitions within the facility and assist in pre-release planning with appropriate referrals to community-based mental health resources.

Promote and maintain safety and security standards in all therapeutic activities.

Comply with all California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and institutional policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
