Customer Service Representative - Insurance (Licensed P&C)

Ayers Insurance Agency, Inc. is looking for individuals to provide professional, prompt, and exceptional Customer Service to our policyholders - Personal OR Commerical Lines. We are a small agency who values being able to provide quality services.

Ayers has been located in the heart of Portage Lakes near Akron, Ohio since 1912! We have built strong relationships through community interaction and are heavily involved in community functions. We are an independent insurance agency representing many different carriers for various solutions. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service with coverages at an affordable rate.

Position Overview:

Essential Functions we are in search for:

Understands and explains policy, coverage, billing and eligibility provisions related to individual customer circumstances.

Service customers requesting quotes or changes to existing coverage and / or new policies. Determines acceptability and placement, completes applications or endorsements, and collects premium when applicable.

Cross-sell current client’s opportunities to quote additional lines of business.

Remarket client renewals as well as address concerns and provide alternative solutions to retain business.

Follow up with clients concerning billing, policies, exposures, etc.

Maintains timeliness and completeness when interactive with customers, agency and company personnel to minimize potential for errors and omissions claims.

Process claims with appropriate carrier.

Miscellaneous job duties and tasks.

Required Credentials and Background:

Proficient with Microsoft Office products Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

Proficient in Insurance CRM platforms like, AMS360, Agency Zoom, PL Rating, TransActNOW, and alike.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

At least one year of insurance Customer Service experience preferred.

Licensed in Ohio Property & Casualty required.

Ability to commute to Akron, Ohio is required.
