Our client, a major waste removal company, is seeking a Scalehouse Attendant to join their team in Pembroke Pines, FL!
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM Friday and Sat 3am to 8am.
Language Requirements:
Must be bilingual – fluent in both English and Spanish
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customers and direct incoming traffic with professionalism and accuracy.
Calculate disposal fees and process payments accurately.
Check incoming loads to ensure they are safe and do not contain prohibited materials.
Enforce safety policies and ensure use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the scalehouse.
Complete administrative tasks such as filing and preparing routine reports.
Communicate issues or concerns to the immediate supervisor promptly.
Attend required company-sponsored training and meetings.
Perform data entry and provide minor customer service assistance.
Work overtime as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
Use of motor coordination (e.g., keyboarding) for part of the day
Occasional handling of objects weighing under 30 lbs
Occasional exposure to occupational hazards (e.g., cuts, chemical exposure)
Frequent exposure to environmental factors such as dirt, odors, noise, and weather
