Blow Molding Set Up

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Roselle IL within the manufacturing industry. We are looking for a friendly passionate person to join a great team as an Blow Molding Set Up. A charismatic person that loves to be detail orientated organize, punctual, and working in industrial environment.

Blow Molding Set Up Pay and Shift:

Pay: $20+ DOE

Shifts Available:

2nd Shift: 3:30 – 11:30 pm Monday through Friday some OT

This position is one that if possible this position could move into a supervisor role in the future

Blow Molding Set Up Core Responsibilities:

Setup and Operation:Set up and operate blow molding machines, adjusting controls, setting temperature, and aligning mandrels with mold chambers to produce hollow plastic products according to specifications.

Quality Control:Inspect finished products for defects, weigh them to ensure accuracy, and trim excess material.

Maintenance:Perform minor repairs and regrind excess material and unsatisfactory workpieces for reuse.

Safety:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Documentation:Record production data and machine performance metrics.

Additional Responsibilities:

Equipment Changeovers: Perform equipment changeovers and maintain molds.

Product Finishing: Weld and finish products to company standards.

Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals.

Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Problem-solving: Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify and implement solutions. Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.

Mechanical Aptitude: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Knowledge of Blow Molding: Understanding of blow molding processes and techniques.

Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Communication: Good communication skills.
