Job Description

Highland Baking Co. seeks a Multimedia Graphic Designer Manager in Northbrook, IL, who leads the development and execution of high-quality visual content across various platforms, including digital, print, video, and interactive media. This role blends creative leadership with hands-on design expertise, ensuring the production of compelling, on-brand content that supports strategic marketing and communications goals. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and an exceptional designer who can manage projects and mentor a creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and production of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, animations, and web visuals.

Supervise and mentor a creative team, fostering skill development and design excellence.

Collaborate with internal teams to execute campaigns aligned with brand and business goals.

Maintain and evolve visual brand identity across all channels.

Oversee creative workflows from concept through delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness.

Manage project priorities, team resources, and external vendors as needed.

Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in graphic design, Multimedia Arts, or related field.

5–7 years of design experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; strong portfolio in multimedia design.

Excellent visual storytelling, layout, and typography skills.

Strong project and time management abilities.

Effective communicator; experience presenting to stakeholders.

Knowledge of UX/UI, web design, or interactive media.

Preferred Skills:

Experience leading creative teams in agency or in-house settings.

Familiarity with tools like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com.

Understanding of digital marketing and content strategy.

Basic HTML/CSS or CMS knowledge (e.g., WordPress).
