Job Description: Lawn Care and Landscaping Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Lawn Care and Landscaping Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining lawns and assisting with various landscaping tasks to enhance the appearance and health of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality work, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working outdoors in all seasons.

Key Responsibilities

Lawn Care Services:

Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools to mow, edge, and trim lawns.

Collect and dispose of clippings, leaves, and other debris.

Landscaping Tasks:

Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Perform mulching, weeding, and soil preparation.

General Maintenance:

Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.

Perform small repairs or adjustments to landscaping features when needed.

Customer Service:

Communicate professionally with clients to address needs or answer questions.

Ensure each project meets or exceeds client expectations.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Take on miscellaneous property upkeep tasks as requested.

Qualifications

No high school diploma or equivalent is needed.

Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping is a plus But Not Required.

Familiarity with lawn care equipment and basic landscaping tools.

Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks and work in varying weather conditions.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Skills

Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

A strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Hours and Compensation

Full-time or part-time positions available.
