Position Summary
The Inside Sales Administrator at The First Electronics Corporation (FEC) plays a vital role in our sales process by managing quotations from initial request to order entry. The key responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams to develop comprehensive quotes, delivering these quotes to customers, meticulously tracking their status, and accurately inputting confirmed orders into Epicor, our ERP system.
The Inside Sales Administrator demands strong organizational and administrative skills, an eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively support the internal team and ensure a seamless flow from customer inquiry to fulfillment.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Administration, Sales, etc.) preferred.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a sales or customer service environment.
Experience with an ERP system is a plus.
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated accuracy in data entry.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the quotation process, from receiving initial customer inquiries to final order entry in Epicor (ERP System)
Collaborate with internal teams (Inside and Outside Sales, Engineering, Production Control, Customer Service) to gather necessary information for accurate quote preparation
Serve as central point of contact for internal sales-related administrative inquiries
Generate and present accurate sales quotations to customers in a timely manner
Track the status of submitted quotations, following up with customers as needed to progress opportunities
Maintain organized records of all quotations and order documentation
Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.
