Job Description
Needed 3+ years of at least EHS Coordinator level experience.
Will oversee and manage plant safety systems and performance programs, including inspections.
Manages overall employee health and wellness programs including onsite amenity programs.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Collaborate with safety and environmental teams, as well as business leaders, to foster a proactive safety and environmental culture
Ø Conduct thorough investigations in response to EHS incidents, including using human and organizational performance approaches
Ø Organize employee safety and environmental engagement initiatives, including leading the site's safety, environmental, or EHS team.
Ø Perform safety and environmental risk assessments and develop site-specific action plans to mitigate risks
Ø Develop comprehensive training plans for safety and environmental awareness, regulatory compliance, and other relevant topics
Ø Partner with the local leadership team to establish specific safety and environmental KPIs and create action plans to achieve those objectives
Ø Ensure timely performance of EHS testing, monitoring, training, and submission of required internal and external reports
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, or equivalent
v Minimum of two years' experience managing EHS in an industrial setting
v Extensive knowledge of EHS standards, methodologies, and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, local and state environmental regulations, ANSI, and NFPA
v Athletic Training background
v Hospital Safety
v Strong Organization and Project focused.
