Job Title: General Litigation Attorney

Location: Downtown Cleveland, OH

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $130,000-160,000

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney with 3–5 years of general litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling all phases of litigation, including case assessment, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, court appearances, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of general civil litigation matters from inception through resolution

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

Handle depositions, court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

Provide strategic legal advice to clients and keep them informed of case developments

Work collaboratively with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation matters

Maintain timely and accurate timekeeping and billing records

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio

3–5 years of general litigation experience required

Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently

Courtroom experience is strongly preferred
