Nurse Practitioner Core - MC Compensation
The pay for this position is $70.38 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Nurse Practitioner Core - MC Highlights
This position is a contract-to-hire assignment with potential for permanent placement based upon performance, attendance, and business needs (conversion not guaranteed)
The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM; Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; every other weekend required
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the start date, subject to medical/religious exemption
Work location: CVS MinuteClinic – San Antonio, TX
Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are highly preferred — please note language fluency at the top of the resume

Nurse Practitioner Core - MC Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to a panel of patients in a retail clinic environment
Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions
Provide counseling, disposition planning, and health education to improve long-term outcomes
Collaborate daily with a clinical care team to ensure continuity and quality of care
Document all patient care in an electronic health record system
Participate in hiring, development, and support of other practice employees
Respond to patient inquiries and manage care coordination across various touchpoints
Promote quality outcomes, patient engagement, and clinic efficiency

Nurse Practitioner Core - MC Requirements
Completion of a Master's degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program
Current National Board Certification as an FNP
Current license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of TX
DEA registration required at the time of offer
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish/English
Prior experience in a retail or urgent care clinic environment
Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
Adaptability to evolving care models and multitasking across clinical and administrative responsibilities
