Company Description
Leinco Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Fenton, Missouri, stands as a leading biotechnology company with over three decades of specialized expertise in the invention, development, and manufacturing of high-quality antibodies and protein products. Since its founding in 1992, Leinco has been a steadfast partner to the global life science research and diagnostic markets, consistently delivering the cutting-edge tools necessary to accelerate scientific discovery and advance healthcare.
At the core of Leinco's mission is the provision of antibodies and recombinant proteins that meet the most stringent purity and functional standards. These critical biomolecules serve as the fundamental building blocks for countless research applications and diagnostic assays, enabling scientists to precisely detect, quantify, and manipulate biological targets.
Key areas of Leinco's focus and impact include:
- Antibody and Protein Invention & Manufacturing Expertise:
- Monoclonal Antibodies: Leinco has a long-standing reputation for developing and producing highly specific monoclonal antibodies. This includes offering robust hybridoma development services and advanced recombinant antibody production platforms, such as their enhanced CHO cell expression system, which can achieve high titers of purified antibodies. They offer various grades, including In vivo GOLDTM and In vivo PLATINUMTM antibodies, which boast exceptionally low endotoxin levels and high purity, making them ideal for sensitive in vivo studies and preclinical research.
- Recombinant Proteins: Leinco excels in producing ultra-pure recombinant proteins, essential for studying protein-protein interactions, developing assays, and serving as antigens in antibody development. Their capabilities span multiple expression systems (mammalian, bacterial, insect, yeast) to ensure optimal folding and biological activity for diverse protein targets.
- Bi-Specific Antibody Development: Recognizing the therapeutic potential of bi-specific antibodies, Leinco provides advanced cell transfection systems (like HEK293 and CHO) that are crucial for the efficient generation and expression of these complex engineered antibodies.
- Custom Services: Beyond their extensive catalog, Leinco is a premier provider of custom R&D and manufacturing services, including antibody development, protein production, conjugation services (e.g., fluorescent and enzyme conjugates), and cell banking. This tailored approach allows them to address unique customer needs across the discovery and diagnostic pipelines.
Driving Life Science Research:
- Leinco's antibodies and proteins are indispensable tools for academic and industrial researchers across a vast array of disciplines. They are widely used in critical applications such as ELISA, Western Blotting, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, and spatial biology studies.
- Their products facilitate foundational research into cell signaling, immunology, oncology, infectious diseases, inflammation, neuroscience, and more. By providing reliable and high-performance reagents, Leinco empowers scientists to uncover fundamental biological mechanisms and generate publishable data in high-impact journals.
Empowering Diagnostics:
Leinco serves as a vital supplier of IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) raw materials, including high-quality antibodies, antigens, and matched antibody pairs. These components are crucial for the development and manufacturing of diagnostic kits used in hospitals and clinical laboratories worldwide. Their rigorous Quality Control (QC) processes, including techniques like ELISA, Western Blotting, and endotoxin testing, ensure that all products meet stringent specifications for purity, consistency, and functional performance, which are paramount for accurate and reliable diagnostic outcomes.
Leinco has demonstrated its rapid response to global health crises, exemplified by its development of COVID-19 related antibodies and diagnostic tools, including the ImmunoRankTM Neutralization MICRO-ELISA test. This highlights their commitment to leveraging their expertise to address urgent public health needs. Their recent acquisition of QED Bioscience further strengthens their position in the antibody market, expanding their catalog and service offerings to better serve the IVD and research sectors.
