Position Description:

ResolveSoft is seeking a Senior IT Solutions Architect to provide support, analysis, and research for complex problems and processes with minimal direction. As a technical expert on executive-level project teams, you will offer strategic direction, interpretation, and innovative alternatives, leveraging extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of related disciplines. This hybrid position is located in Fort Belvoir, VA, with required periodic meetings at HQ DLA (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other Washington, DC metropolitan area locations.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex problems and processes related to EDI/XML and other IT/functional areas. Serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, offering technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. Think independently and demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills. Apply extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of related disciplines. Guide the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Develop technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity. Work without appreciable direction, exercising considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments. Expertise may be in areas such as Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management, or functional areas like finance, logistics, procurement, transportation, and operations research.

Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role:

10 years of experience in a relevant field, specifically EDI/XML electronic data exchange (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology), and a specific logistics function (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation, operations research).

Expert experience in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, procurement, transportation, and operations research).
