Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a Wound care team.

Responsibilities:

Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient wounds, which may be chronic or acute and develop individualized treatment plans.

Implement advanced wound care techniques, including debridement, dressing selection, skin grafts and infection control measures.

Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals at each facility to coordinate care and provide updates on patient progress to ensure continuity of care.

Manage a travel schedule to visit multiple skilled nursing facilities on a regular basis.

Ensure timely and efficient care delivery

Qualifications

Valid License as a NP.

Board Certified: ANCC or AANP

Minimum of 1 years’ experience in advanced wound care is highly preferred.

Certification in wound care (e.g., CWOCN, CWS, WCC, WOCN) is a plus.

Ability to travel to multiple locations.
