Riddell seeks a highly motivated Associate Manager, Marketing Projects to oversee and coordinate the execution of various projects, primarily focused on driving Sales initiatives. An ideal candidate has project management experience and is enthusiastically committed to ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and quality. This individual must understand how to work collaboratively with stakeholders across teams and seniority levels to manage the execution of deliverables. They must be deadline-driven, organized, obsessed with details, creative, resourceful, and a powerful communicator. The right candidate enjoys the challenge of managing expectations, personalities, and multiple priorities while enforcing internal deadlines and keeping projects on time. Overall, we’re seeking a proactive self-starter with top-notch interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for sports, predominantly football.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)

Serve as the main point of contact for Sales team to intake requests and conceptualize outputs for upcoming programs, education pieces, and other needs supporting the Sales team (primarily rep communication with customers)

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders determined for each project

Create and maintain project schedules in Wrike, including meetings, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and documentation

Develop, update, track, and regularly communicate project timelines and progress to ensure visibility and accountability across contributors and stakeholders

Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up to ensure timely deliverables

Identify risks and issues, propose solutions, and drive resolution

Work with Sales and MarCom leadership in determining project priority and identifying team members best equipped for specific projects

Support resource allocation and workload distribution within the creative team

Collaborate effectively with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external, across all business units to ensure project success and follow-through

Conduct annual and post-project briefings to assess performance, identify insights, and inform plans

Ensure all deliverables meet Riddell’s high standards for quality and brand consistency

Lead onboarding and training for Wrike, keeping updated on platform enhancements

Collaborate with team members to recommend and implement process improvements that improve workflow, efficiency, output quality, and brand consistency

Support general MarCom activities and other Riddell responsibilities as time permits

QUALIFICATIONS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related experience/field

3+ years of experience in project management activities, preferably in sports/sporting goods, manufacturing, or technology industries (equivalent experience from advanced degrees considered)

PMP or other certifications a plus

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop

Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Wrike)

Experience navigating cross-functional projects and working in a dynamic environment

Able to travel around 10% of the year, including overnight and weekend travel

Interest in working in a predominantly corporate office environment required

Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify challenges, develop effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information, collaborate with team members, and interact with clients or stakeholders at all levels (in-person and virtual contacts)

Motivated, self-starter who has a growth mindset and commitment to learning

Interest in contributing outside core responsibilities to support team/business objectives

Display a passion for sports, specifically football and its community
