The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill pediatric patients with a wide range of single and multi-organ system illnesses.

This role requires strong clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.

The PA will function as a clinician, consultant, mentor, educator, and contributor to clinical research in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

\n\nJob Duties \n\n\n\tProvide direct medical care to critically ill pediatric patients under the supervision of an attending physician.

\n\tPerform comprehensive assessments, develop differential diagnoses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate and implement treatment plans.

\n\tPerform procedures as appropriate, including but not limited to central line placement, intubation, arterial line placement, and lumbar puncture.

\n\tMonitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and participate in daily rounds with the multidisciplinary care team.

\n\tAct as a clinical consultant and mentor to nursing staff, medical students, and other members of the healthcare team.

\n\tPromote and model evidence-based practices and foster professional development within the team.

\n\tEducate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care needs.

\n\tParticipate in the development and delivery of formal and informal educational programs for peers and staff.

\n\tParticipate in research initiatives, clinical trials, and quality improvement projects related to pediatric critical care.

\n\tContribute to data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings to support evidence-based care and innovation in practice.
