Job Purpose:
Employee performs skilled, complex work in the repair, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and steam distribution equipment, as well as energy management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Investigate problems and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Monitor and inspect systems to ensure proper operation.
Install and maintain HVAC systems.
Lay out wires and pipes for HVAC systems.
Ensure all installations meet standards and are properly secured.
Calibrate thermostats and controls.
Perform checks on motors, belts, and handle lubrication duties.
Change filters and replace worn parts.
Maintain chemical compositions in equipment.
Handle conduit running and order supplies as needed.
Respond to emergency situations promptly.
Maintain tools and equipment.
Replace faulty parts and fabricate parts if unavailable.
Follow building policies and standards, including fire alarm system security.
Update chilled water readings and manage Building Management System (BMS).
Ensure proper treatment of chilled water chemicals.
QHSE:
Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others.
Cooperate with health and safety initiatives.
Follow instructions related to health and safety.
Report accidents, injuries, or illnesses.
Skills Required:
Strong ability to interpret instructions and safety procedures.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Experience with electronic and mechanical systems.
Technical assistance in HVAC system design and implementation.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read blueprints.
Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning.
Other Requirements:
3-5 years experience in maintenance services.
Computer literacy.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
