Intellectual Property Patent Attorney - Chemical Engineering / Materials Science

Our client is an Am law firm, seeking a junior patent associate for its Intellectual Property practice in Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. or Wilmington. The position requires 2-3 days/week in office. The salary for this role is between $175k to $255k.

Qualfifications

1-3 years of patent prosecution experience in technologies such as filtration, material science, polymer science and medical devices.

Experience in both chemical and mechanical preparation and prosecution.

Patent searching and analysis skills a plus.

Degree in chemical engineering or materials science is required.

State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice required [or ability to become admitted].

Team focused; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent academic credentials required.
