IT Strategic Sourcing Consultant

Location: Hybrid in Columbus, OH (downtown office) preferred but open to remote for the right fit

Pay: $41.27/hr

Schedule: Regular business hours

Job Summary:

Join our client’s Strategic Sourcing Team to lead high-impact procurement initiatives. In this role, you’ll consult with business units to source goods and services, manage complex contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise teams on sourcing strategies for complex purchases across multiple categories but mostly software and hosting services

Lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier evaluations

Analyze spend data to identify savings and improve efficiency

Collaborate with legal, IT, finance, and other stakeholders on contract development and renewals

Support forecasting and vendor management across assigned categories

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field (preferred)

6–8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management

Strong knowledge of sourcing, contract law, and vendor negotiation

Experience with technology sourcing and enterprise-wide solutions is a plus

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project leadership skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
