Senior Procurement Manager Research & Early Development

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing efforts for Discovery Research and Early Development. In this role, you'll manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, drive cost savings, and support scientific teams with critical outsourced services. This position is ideal for candidates with deep experience in biotech/pharma procurement and strong knowledge of preclinical R&D services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead sourcing strategies, RFPs/RFIs, and vendor selection

Oversee contracts (MSAs, SLAs, Work Orders) and ensure compliance

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

Manage key spend categories: preclinical studies, bioanalytics, in-vivo tox, and lab services

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (MS/MBA preferred)

5+ years of life sciences procurement experience

Strong negotiation, contract, and vendor management skills

Experience with tools like Workday Strategic Sourcing

Minimal travel required.
