Location: San Diego, CA (Full-time Onsite Potential Hybrid 1–2 Days/Week)
Salary Range: $120,000–$150,000 (Open to Negotiation)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and licensed Senior Landscape Architect to step into a leadership role at our San Diego studio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with deep local expertise, a passion for mentorship, and proven business development skills. The position will lead a talented team and manage a portfolio of complex, high-impact landscape architecture projects.
Key Requirements
California Licensure Required (PLA, ASLA, AICP, or LEED AP)
15+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture
10+ years in a leadership or management role
Strong track record in business development
Familiarity with the Southern California region and client landscape
Must be proficient in: AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp
Strong communication and decision-making abilities
Working knowledge of accounting and financial principles

Core Responsibilities
Lead and manage project teams; assign daily work, review deliverables, and ensure quality
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and contracts
Provide direction on design principles, construction documents, and graphic presentations
Oversee large-scale, complex projects from concept to completion
Maintain and grow client relationships; represent the firm in public meetings and agency interactions
Mentor junior team members and support team development
Pay Range: $120,000–$150,000 yearly
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
