Key Responsibilities:
Administer end-to-end payroll processes, including employee data updates (e.g., pay rates, deductions, and 401(k) contributions), payroll batch creation, and payroll reconciliation
Validate payroll reports to ensure accuracy of earnings types, taxes, deductions, and employer 401(k) matches
Oversee the payroll approval process and manage off-cycle payments as needed
Ensure accurate deduction and timely funding of all employee and employer 401(k) contributions
Maintain data integrity by auditing and reconciling discrepancies across HRIS and payroll systems
Act as subject matter expert (SME) for payroll systems, including system implementation, module configuration, user administration, and tax setup
Manage state tax accounts, including registration in new states, system updates, and resolution of related issues
Monitor and track employee PTO balances, and alert supervisors to discrepancies or policy exceptions
Conduct year-end payroll audits and ensure accurate W-2 forms and compliance with tax reporting requirements
Qualifications:
.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Payroll Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
.Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
.Excellent oral and written communication skills.
.Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
