IT Helpdesk Support Engineer
A rapidly growing, innovation-driven company in the medical technology space is looking for a hands-on IT Specialist to own and scale internal IT operations across hardware, software, and network systems. We are looking for a technically skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to help build the infrastructure that supports cutting-edge engineering and product development teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related operations across the enterprise
Manage day-to-day IT needs, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, servers, and network devices
Oversee onboarding/offboarding, account creation, and asset management
Design, deploy, and secure internal network infrastructure (VPN, firewalls, endpoint security)
Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols, including antivirus, SOC tools, and data protection strategies
Support cloud integrations and specialized infrastructure (e.g., for digital imaging or machine vision systems)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable technical operations
Manage IT procurement and vendor relationships
Continuously evaluate systems and recommend upgrades to support growth
What You Bring (Qualifications):
5+ years in IT support, systems/network administration, or related roles
Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux environments
Experience supporting Google or Microsoft 365
Experience troubleshooting racks, servers
Experience writing IT policies
Experience with Red Team Ops
Proficiency in networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), security protocols, and endpoint protection
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with scripting, automation, and modern DevOps tools (e.g., Docker – a plus!)
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Startup or small company experience a big plus
Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or relevant security credentials are a bonus
