Must Have:
2+ years of related experience
Knowledge of AutoCAD
Electric utility experience
Knowledge of Electrical Distribution
Computer skills in Microsoft Office
Local to Austin - hybrid model (on-site only 1 day per month after the first month)
Plusses:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering - not required
Experienced with PLS-CADD power line design software
Day to Day:
This person will be responsible for conducting analyses to develop electrical design options or recommendations, and to assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications.
Overhead and underground distribution line design, preparation of cost estimates, specifications, staking sheets, construction units review and development
Assist with distribution planning, distribution modeling, distribution coordination, or distribution line design tasks as required.
Complete written reports and routine engineering assignments requiring application of industry standard techniques and procedures.
May work independently on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.
Compensation:
$45/hr to $50/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
