RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead exploratory studies of promising high voltage audio driver technologies.
Perform in-depth IC layout level and system level design reviews of design to understand and communicate ESD/LU design risk.
Run ESD/LU analysis for our mixed signal IC designs to ensure robustness and where necessary provide design guidance.
Engagement with IC foundry and TVS diode vendors to acquire knowledge and data and models to enable ESD/LU design.
Maintain the component qualification status for ESD/LU protection devices used in consumer products.
Understand circuit and product reliability requirements, conduct technology reliability evaluations, and define product test modes.
Support technology qualification, product debugging and production ramp.
Develop a technology roadmap and strategic plans for future mixed signal products.
Manage development project; comprehend business plan, make schedule, and coordinate activities among design, Technology, and Product and Manufacturing.
Plan and supervise test-chips and electrical test module design for technology development, process characterization/monitoring and reliability evaluation.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Prefer Masters or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Sciences, or other related fields.
9 plus years of experience in semiconductor Si technology development or design support, with at least 5 years mixed signal semiconductor technology area and 5 years in management.
Must have gone through a minimum of one full-cycle of mixed signal product development.
Hands-on experiences in project management and remote-site communication.
Familiar with PC software, workstation, parametric and memory testers, and statistical data analysis.
