Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office

Schedule: M-F 9:00a-5:30p

Rate: $30-$40 hourly DOE

Job Summary

Our plaintiff personal injury law firm client in Los Angeles, CA is hiring for a full time, in office Paralegal. In this role, you will work directly with the attorney and staff to manage case files by drafting and filing discovery requests and responses, preparing pleadings and motions, and maintaining court calendars. You will also schedule meetings and appointments, track medical treatment, coordinate with experts, and communicate case updates to clients, insurers, and providers. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a professional and collaborative office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and review legal documents to support the litigation process including complaints, motions, demand letters, discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, subpoenas), and responses.

Track and organize client case files in CasePeer, track all court deadlines and update calendars, coordinate client appointments and medical follow ups.

Communicate regularly with clients to share case updates and contact medical providers and insurers to verify coverage, file claims, obtain records, and address billing or lien issues.

Other legal administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in a law firm as a paralegal required.

Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) highly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); CasePeer experience a plus

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Professional and friendly demeanor with a customer-service orientation.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
