In this role you will play a primary role in the testing and inspections of power distribution equipment and plans, as well as the overall management of assigned projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Report to the job site daily while crews are active, typically maintaining a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend work as needed.
- Participate in all on-site meetings with subcontractors and the Project Manager.
- Support the Project Manager in upholding project quality standards and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to confirm timely delivery of materials and completion of services in accordance with project quality assurance requirements.
- Assist the Project Manager and/or General Foreman in managing and maintaining the latest project drawings on site, ensuring all as-built documentation is current and accurate.
- Collaborate with testing laboratories to verify that construction materials and environmental standards meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit red-line as-built drawings and final project documentation to ensure complete and compliant project close-out.
- Participate in the commissioning and testing of substation components, including transformers, circuit breakers, and switches.
- Ensure adherence to Miller Bros and customer-specific quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure assigned projects are on schedule, and communicate necessary updates to all relevant parties.
Job Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in electrical Engineer preferred
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office and associated programs
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills and experience working with project management software.
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 (Annual)
