Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Private Equity Associate to join our investment team. The Associate will play a key role in evaluating, executing, and managing private equity investments across a range of industries. This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, portfolio companies, and the full investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Analysis & Due Diligence
Conduct financial modeling, valuation (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis), and sensitivity analysis.
Perform industry research, market sizing, and competitive landscape assessments.
Support due diligence efforts including coordination with legal, accounting, and operational advisors.
Deal Execution
Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.
Participate in deal structuring, negotiations, and documentation processes.
Portfolio Management
Monitor portfolio company performance through financial reporting and KPI tracking.
Support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and value creation plans.
Collaborate with management teams and board members on business planning and growth strategies.
Sourcing & Market Intelligence
Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities through proactive sourcing and networking.
Maintain relationships with investment banks, advisors, and industry experts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
