Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive on construction Site Safety Officer to join our team and help us maintain a safe and compliant work environment. This is a 100% an on construction site position. A strong field presence is essential to ensure real-time safety oversight and compliance.
Employee Benefits:
Pay: $75,000-80,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience and fit)
Monday–Friday, roughly 7am-5pm, other times as required

Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; recommend and track corrective actions.
Partner with Superintendents on site to develop a safety-conscious crews through coaching and safety planning.
Respond to incidents; coordinate injury care per company protocols and assist with root cause investigations.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation including Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Site-Specific Safety Plans, and permits.
Lead on site safety training including daily toolbox talks, stretching, orientation, and site-specific safety programs.
Ensure availability and proper use of safety equipment, PPE, and first aid supplies.
Participate in and contribute to jobsite safety walks with internal and external partners.
Maintain documentation of inspections, incident reports, and corrective actions.
Communicate regularly with the HSE Manager any updates, initiatives, findings, etc.
Requirements:
2+ years of safety experience in construction or industrial environments
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards
Root cause analysis experience
Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and judgment skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills and ability to train field personnel
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must pass a background check and drug screen
