Salary: 75,000 - 90,000 annually

The Mortgage Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing branch financials, preparing branch forecasts, and assisting with budgeting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation of branch-specific budgets and financial forecasts

Update and refine forecasts based on changes in the market or operational performance

Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to mortgage lending, such as loan origination volume, approval rates and profitability metrics.

Develop financial models and analysis to support profitability and identify areas for improvement.

Assist in annual budget preparation for Mortgage Branches.

Assist with the preparation and approval of branch proformas for prospective branches.

Resource for Branch locations for financial questions completing monthly Branch Manager financial review calls.

Provide monthly financial reporting analysis and budget variance explanation.

Coordinating root cause and detail information with different departments across the organization.

Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation.

Education, Experience, Skills:

Mortgage Accounting/Finance Experience required

Bachelors degree in accounting/finance or demonstrated equivalent business experience

2-3 years of experience in accounting/finance or related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Computer experience with MS Office application with heavy emphasis in Excel

Comfortable working in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment

Proactive and able to work independently and as a team

Encompass experience, not required but preferred

Loan Vision experience, not required but preferred

Proficient with data analysis, forecasting, critical thinking and problem-solving
