DevSecOps Engineer
TITLE: DevSecOps Engineer
LOCATION: 7265 Windsor Boulevard, Suite 106, Windsor Mill, MD 21244
DUTIES:
Responsible for providing DevSecOps design, planning, deployment, security, and maintenance support for cloud environments and providing infrastructure support to our product/application development team’s software development lifecycle. Create/design/develop/manage DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using open-source and COTS technical solutions. Provide the necessary support to establish and improve DevSecOps processes such as IaC templates, test automation, CI/CD pipeline and code configuration management. Provide the necessary infrastructure and support for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Test Automation. Provide security engineering guidance and expertise to development and operations. Implement practical security improvements and compliance activity in support of the product and program. Facilitate security reviews and testing, security scans, and penetration testing. Ensure work product meets user acceptance criteria. Manage self-directed assignments. Meet scheduled deadlines and commitments with a high-level of quality of deliverables. Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevSecOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice. Recommend and implement industry standards. Collaborate with a team of cross-functional resources in an Agile delivery environment. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.
Qualifications
Position requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or another closely related discipline within the Computer Science field plus 5 years of experience in Information Technology, specifically AWS Cloud Operations, Management, and Support; of which, 3 years must include experience operating applications within a Linux operating systems; implementing and supporting highly available AWS applications using AWS S3, Auto Scaling, and Elastic Load Balancing; of which 2 years must include working with Agile project methodologies, including SCRUM; working with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Github, or Bitbucket; and deploying infrastructure using automation scripts (Infrastructure as Code) using CloudFormation Templates or Terraform. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.
SALARY: $178,963-$196,859.30 per year
