We seek a skilled Financial Analyst to support our pharmaceutical pricing strategies, reimbursement evaluations, and cost optimization efforts while contributing to broader financial planning, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and uses financial insights to drive value across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Pharmaceutical Pricing Strategy & Optimization
Manage the pricing of pharmaceuticals used in infusion therapies through in-depth financial analysis to optimize reimbursement, sustain profitability, and support revenue growth.
Develop and execute targeted pricing strategies using price optimization tools and reimbursement data, focusing on both buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy models.
Benchmark drug acquisition and reimbursement rates across payers, providers, and specialty distributors to ensure pricing competitiveness and identify margin enhancement opportunities.
Cost Savings & Vendor Contracting
Research, analyze, and recommend cost-saving opportunities aligned with broader enterprise goals.
Track, monitor, and report on cost savings initiatives and performance trends every month.
Work independently to support and validate vendor contracting and unit cost management through pricing models and financial analysis.
Translate contract rates and terms into financial impact analyses to support negotiation of new or amended contracts.
Modeling & KPIs
Develop and apply advanced financial models and data analysis techniques to support KPIs across various aspects of the business.
Track and monitor business development team productivity and commissions
Analyze rebate methodologies and evaluate opportunities within the infusion therapy space.
Reporting, Dashboards & Process Improvement
Develop dashboards, reports, and tools to monitor reimbursement performance across our infusion product portfolio.
Support improvements in the team’s processes for collecting, documenting, and validating reporting requirements.
Serve as a key resource on complex pricing, reimbursement, and financial modeling issues across departments.
Strategic Initiatives
Propose, present, and engage in value-added strategic initiatives to improve financial outcomes and operational performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
3–5+ years of financial data analysis experience preferred within the healthcare sector, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the infusion therapy space.
Strong financial modeling and data analytics skills; proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
Highly motivated self-starter: ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of buy-and-bill reimbursement frameworks, specialty pharmacy workflows, and payer/provider contracting strategies (preferred).
Ability to interpret complex contract terms and translate them into financial impacts.
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Base pay range:
The salary range for this position reflects the competitive market rates for similar roles in the industry. Individual compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including a candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
