DevOps Engineer

Overview:

Our client, Tesoro XP, is a brand-new spin-off from Atlas Reality, the creators of the mobile hits Atlas: Earth and Atlas: Empires. Tesoro XP is focused on delivering a game-changing SDK that allows studios to reward players with virtual currency for real-world engagement.

They’re building this company—and its tech—from the ground up. With a proven market demand and successful backing, Tesoro XP is creating a scalable platform to empower other game studios, and they’re looking for founding team members who thrive in greenfield environments.

Tesoro XP is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to architect and own the entire infrastructure and CI/CD strategy. This is the first DevOps hire, with total ownership over how systems are built, deployed, and maintained. This is not a maintenance role—it’s a build-it-from-scratch opportunity.

They’re looking for someone who’s done this before: stood up infrastructure, implemented best practices, automated everything, and helped scale an operation from ground zero.

What You’ll Do:

Build out a new infrastructure environment from scratch

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

Use Terraform and Terraform Cloud to manage infrastructure as code (IaC)

Automate and secure the full SDLC lifecycle

Own all aspects of the DevOps stack, tooling, and processes

Collaborate closely with engineering and leadership to align infrastructure with product goals

Make high-level decisions on tools, deployment workflows, and architecture

What They’re Looking For:

Proven experience building DevOps systems from the ground up

Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD

Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices

Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation

Independent, self-directed, and comfortable taking full ownership

Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX (WeWork space provided)

Bonus: Experience with SDKs or developer platforms

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (now or in the future)
