Job Title: Derivative Trade Support Specialist

Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in New York, 2 days remote

Type: 1-Year Contract

Pay Rate: Up to $51.86/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a Derivative Trade Support Specialist to join the Global Derivative Operations team within Brokerage Investment Management, a leader in global investment services. This role supports a wide array of derivative trading strategies and involves direct interaction with traders, internal stakeholders, and external brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

Support regulatory and business initiatives including Client Vance integration, Project Horizon, new instrument approvals, and counterparty diversification.

Collaborate with global Trade Support teams to manage intra-day trading activity and trade life cycle events.

Execute derivative trade processing: affirmations, allocations, confirmations, and notifications.

Liaise with Equity and Fixed Income traders to resolve trade discrepancies and breaks.

Communicate with custodians, fund accountants, executing and clearing brokers to resolve post-trade issues.

Work cross-functionally with Collateral Management, Fund Administration, and Portfolio Services teams.

Enhance and standardize global procedures for operational efficiency.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of financial products, particularly OTC and listed derivatives (Futures, Options, Swaps, Credit Derivatives, etc.).

High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Ability to work independently with sound judgment and escalate issues when necessary.

Experience in investment operations, trade support, or brokerage preferred.
