Job Description:

Under the direction of the site principal, the art specialist will plan and deliver art lessons (visual arts, music, theater, media arts, dance, etc.)

Compensation: Pay is based on the appropriate corresponding salary schedule depending on work schedule.

Approximate work schedule – 10-month work year depending on site need. Approximate work hours – 8-40 hours per week depending on site need.

Qualifications:

• California Teaching Credential (Certificated)

• BA in arts or college level arts courses preferred (Classified)

• Experience working with students ages 4-14 years old preferred

• Ability to develop curriculum and interactive pacing guides for specific Fine Arts courses

Knowledge of:

• California Arts Standards

Ability to:

• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to work and communicate effectively with colleagues parents, and students
