Job Location:

This position will sit onsite 5 days a week at Peterson Space Force Base, CO.

Clearance:

This position requires an active Secret security clearance.

Job Description:

In this position as a Senior Associate - Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC), you will support a federal client's efforts to strengthen internal controls and integrate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles. In this position, you will also ensure compliance with OMB Circular A-123 and provide guidance on internal control activities to help the client achieve audit sustainment and improve risk management practices. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the implementation and execution of the Risk Management and Internal Control Program (RMIC).

Conducting self-testing and sustainment testing activities.

Integrating ERM into internal controls processes, including quarterly Statement of Assurance submissions.

Assisting in identifying internal control weaknesses and developing corrective actions.

Engaging with senior leadership, assessable unit administrators, and functional managers to ensure program compliance.

Providing subject matter expertise to advance the client's audit readiness and ERM goals.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

4+ years of experience supporting Air Force or Space Force RMIC programs.

Desired Skills:

CDFM certification preferred.

Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls, including ERM integration.

Familiarity with DoD regulations, policies, and procedures related to RMIC and OMB Circular A-123.

Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess control gaps and recommend solutions.

Effective communication skills for working with stakeholders across various levels of leadership.

At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $105,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
