The Systems Implementation Intern will support our manufacturing and operations teams in the rollout and optimization of new systems used across our production lines. This role offers hands-on experience in process engineering, automation, quality assurance, food safety and production operations within a candy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of new food manufacturing software by digitizing existing manufacturing processes
Document current and future state processes, workflows, and system configurations.
Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for system performance and efficiency.
Help train operators and supervisors on system changes and new technology rollouts.
Conduct time studies, equipment observations, and process validations to ensure successful implementation.
Troubleshoot basic system issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP/MES systems a plus.
Interest in food production and manufacturing technology.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
