Job Title: ISO Auditor

Location: Naperville, IL 60540 area

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Compensation: $43-$50/hr

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified ISO Auditor with a strong background in quality and environmental systems to support our internal audit program in the power industry. The ideal candidate will bring formal ISO training and practical auditing experience, with a focus on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards

Write concise audit summary reports that support compliance and operational excellence in power generation and related environments

Track and manage corrective action plans through closure

Collaborate with operational, maintenance, and environmental teams to ensure audit readiness and continuous improvement

Maintain documentation and audit records in line with industry and regulatory expectations

Qualifications:

Experience as a Lead Auditor preferred

Formal classroom training (with certificate) in:

ISO 9001

ISO 14001

Internal auditing practices

Industry-relevant experience in power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial environments is a strong plus

Full ISO Lead Auditor certification is a plus but not required
