Responsibilities

Direct and oversee the workflow and scheduling of estimating activities to meet both immediate and long-term company objectives

Work closely with operational teams and clients to outline project scopes and review bid documents

Request bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation is distributed

Develop estimates for initial designs, ensuring accurate pricing through comprehensive research

Negotiate pricing, resolve any discrepancies, and foster strong relationships with clients

Compile and present completed estimating packages to management for approval

Track bid projects and provide accurate forecasts for future project awards and their likelihood

Work with operations to hand over awarded projects and manage procurement processes when needed

Qualifications

Preferred 5+ years experience in electrical estimating on Multi-Family and Commercial projects (hotels, restaurants, warehouses, storage facilities)

Experience working on electrical budgets in the $1 - $5 Million range

Proficient in estimating software Accubid

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities

Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service

Benefits

Base Salary: $80k - $115k, dependant on experience
