Job Responsibilities:
Manage the European import operations for global food products, with a focus on Asian brands;
Communicate with overseas food brand owners and distributors to coordinate product selection and procurement;
Assess product ingredient compliance with local regulations;
Place purchase orders and coordinate with freight forwarders, internal teams, and external logistics providers;
Oversee customs clearance procedures and ensure timely delivery to local warehouses.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the import food industry, with a strong understanding of EU food import regulations;
Proven ability to create compliant product labels in accordance with local standards;
Solid knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability requirements, especially within the Netherlands, Germany, and France;
Familiarity with procedures for liaising with local government regulatory bodies;
Capable of independently managing the end-to-end supply chain—from overseas consolidation to customs declaration and clearance;
Fluent in English, with the ability to use it as a working language; proficiency in Chinese is a strong plus.
