As the Director of Clinical Services, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the Counseling and Health Services programs at the Crisis Center for South Suburbia. Youll provide clinical leadership, supervise a talented team of clinical staff and interns, and directly engage in counseling services while upholding the agencys mission to support survivors of domestic violence. Job Description

In the role of Director of Clinical Services, your responsibilities will include:

Providing clinical leadership and oversight to ensure trauma-informed, culturally competent, and client-centered care across the Counseling and Health Services programs.

Supervising, evaluating, and supporting clinical staff, interns, and contractors through regular supervision, case reviews, and professional development.

Maintaining a small caseload of 610 clients, delivering direct counseling services, and supporting staff during emergencies or crises.

Managing the Substance Use and Harm Reduction programs, ensuring appropriate assessments, goal planning, and effective service delivery.

Overseeing the contracted Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring integration of medical and clinical services for clients with complex needs.

Developing and implementing clinical protocols, policies, and procedures, leading quality improvement initiatives, and monitoring program effectiveness.

Ensuring compliance with documentation standards, licensing regulations, and confidentiality requirements.

Facilitating staff training and professional development initiatives, with a focus on building staff capacity and promoting staff wellness.

Contributing to agency-wide planning, policy development, and collaborative efforts as part of the Leadership Team.

Assisting with grant writing, reporting, and evaluation for counseling and health services programs.

Representing the agency in community meetings, external forums, and serving as a liaison with funders and partners.Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's Degree - LCSW/LCPC

3-5 years Counseling experience

3-5 years supervisory or management experience
