We are seeking a professional and caring Psychiatrist to join our team! In this role, you will conduct psychological exams and testing, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, and assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors through the use of psychotherapeutic methods and medicine. If you are an experienced Psychiatrist passionate about providing high-quality care, we want to hear from you!
This is a part time position which could turn into full time. We are a growing business and are expanding to meet the needs of our clients and provide them with support. We are flexible on schedule and are willing to work with what schedule or hours work best for you. Starting pay/salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mental health conditions
Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses
Create individualized treatment plans for each client
Prescribe psychotherapeutic management, including prescribing and monitoring medications for patients
Deliver therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support patient recovery
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information, progress, treatment plans, and all medication information
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment outcomes
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in behavioral health
Develop and oversee other team members within the Psychiatry department such as PMHNP providers or medical assistantsQualifications
MD or DO from an accredited US-based medical school
Current medical license and certification from the American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS)
Deep knowledge of various psychotherapeutic methods and a strong understanding of medication management for various psychiatric disorders
Experience in clinical setting with a focus on geriatrics and PTSD care preferred
Strong therapeutic skills, particularly in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and other relevant therapeutic modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Ability to provide compassionate patient care while fostering a supportive environment for individuals facing mental health challenges
