CME Federal Credit Union, a financial institution located in central Ohio, was started by the local heroes of our community – City of Columbus Fire and Police Departments. We now offer financial services to everyone in Franklin County and the 7 surrounding counties and remain dedicated to serving those who serve our community! We are currently looking for a full time Member Payment Solutions Specialist to be a financial hero to our members!

Our hero’s mission is to . . .

Protect the assets of the credit union by performing all collection activities and lowering delinquencies.

Manage the assigned collection queue(s) by contacting members to establish a payment plan that will bring the delinquent loan(s) and/or deposit accounts current.

Manage credit report disputes and update credit reports.

Assist members with credit life, credit disability, GAP, and extended warranty claims.

Requirements

To complete this mission, our financial hero needs to be approachable and empathetic with good communication skills. Being detail and solution oriented, knowledgeable, and an independent thinker will help our hero to be the problem solver CME and its members need. At a minimum, our hero needs to have a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least 1 year collections or equivalent experience. Financial institution experience is preferred.
