Job Title: Director of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Salary: $145,000 - $160,000

Department: Business Technology

Classification: Exempt / Salary

Reports to: VP, IT & Enterprise Solutions

Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least ten years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity support, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.

Minimum of five years of progressive leadership and management experience.

Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, servers, Active Directory, MS SQL, and core network technologies, including LAN/WAN, subnets, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and video surveillance systems.

Experience managing cloud hosting environments; Azure experience strongly preferred.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff members.

Demonstrated success in leading enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity teams in complex, dynamic environments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Strong advocate for IT standards, procedures, policies, regulations, and best practices, ensuring infrastructure and cybersecurity team alignment.

Maintain proactive awareness of current projects, the organization's digital strategy roadmap, and ongoing support issues. Must also stay current with industry trends and evaluate the effectiveness of existing software and hardware solutions.

Experience identifying and establishing relevant performance metrics and demonstrating measurable progress against them.

Experience managing cybersecurity systems, ideally using a security operations center (SOC) and EDR/MDR/XDR platforms.

Working knowledge of compliance and data protection standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, PCI-DSS) is preferred.

Familiarity with IT security standards and protocols, including OWASP Top 10, NIST, CIS controls, Zero Trust, ISO/IEC 27001

Experience with ITSM platforms.

Experience with privileged access management (PAM) tools and frameworks.

Proven track record in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and effectively managing cybersecurity attacks and breaches.

Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams and support multiple geographic locations.

Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Relevant certifications are preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL)

Job Summary:

The position is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Business Technology as it pertains to infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and service delivery. The role requires collaboration across departments, oversight of mission-critical systems, and leadership in shaping the company’s IT posture and future-readiness in alignment with corporate objectives.

Job Duties:

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, VoIP, and firewall management.

Manage on-premise and Azure cloud environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of critical systems.

Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities in alignment with business continuity goals.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

Maintain and enhance the security posture of networks, systems, and data across all business locations.

Lead threat detection, incident response, and compliance programs in collaboration with internal teams and external security operations centers.

Partner with Enterprise Risk Management to monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), support Business Impact Analyses (BIA), and maintain the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

IT Operations & End-User Support

Lead the infrastructure and security team, including helpdesk operations, ensuring timely and effective end-user support via ITSM frameworks.

Monitor work processes and documentation for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.

Policy, Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, including cGMP, HACCP, and other safety and environmental standards.

Maintain and update IT-related documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to support process standardization and audit readiness.

Physical Security & Access Control

Oversee physical security systems, including badge access, video surveillance, and facility entry control for all company locations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Develop and present KPIs and metrics related to system uptime, service delivery, outages, cybersecurity, and risk indicators.

Track and communicate performance outcomes to departmental leadership and the Board of Directors.

Vendor & Budget Management

Manage vendor relationships for IT infrastructure, security services, and staffing support.

Develop, monitor, and report on IT operating and capital budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery and strategic financial forecasting.

Strategic Planning & Change Management

Contribute to the development and execution of IT strategy aligned with broader business objectives.

Lead cross-functional collaboration and change initiatives to drive innovation and improve business outcomes.

People Leadership & Team Development

Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing IT team focused on operational excellence, innovation, and professional growth.

Support individual development plans, performance management, and team engagement through clear communication, recognition, and empowerment.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

Identify and implement industry best practices for infrastructure, cybersecurity, and service delivery.

Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that align with evolving business needs.

Safety, Cleanliness & Compliance Culture

Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow safety requirements.

May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.

Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.

Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Must adhere to all company policies.

Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.

Follow all SOPs in a given area.

Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
