JOB SUMMARY:
The Corporate Recruitment and HR Coordinator role is to nurture the employee relationship from beginning to end of the lifecycle of the employee. It begins when you attract candidates to interview, join the company & then nurture a healthy culture. In addition, the Corp. Recruitment and HR Coordinator nurtures relationships with successful candidates that ensures long-term retention. A successful person will collaborate with management on a regular basis and proactively identify a pipeline for future hiring needs while also supporting the success & career growth of our active team. This person is a trusted advisor to leadership as well as employees and the go to for all things employment, career growth and employee retention and culture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for active and passive sourcing and recruitment of candidates by using job boards, social media, historical databases, etc.
Manage multiple openings simultaneously
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Promote company's reputation as best place to work on social pages and at community events thru Recruitment Marketing and by building relationships with community organizations
Recommend updates to job descriptions based on relevant and current trends including salary benchmarking
SharePoint file maintenance of job descriptions and HR processes
Craft postings and communications that will drive interest from potential candidates to our opportunities
Conduct pre-screening calls and attend interviews to ensure we hire top-qualified candidates
Work with hiring manager to present offer letters to top candidates
Coordinate campus career fairs, develop relationships, and promote ComTec careers & branding at local & state universities to reach future generation candidates
Responsible for Employee Retention practices to grow the culture and foster retention
Conduct 60/90-day formal touch base meetings with new hires to nurture retention and process improvements
Fosters new employee success with 30/60/90-day acceleration plans
Foster retention goals: Collect employee feedback via surveys, Stay Interviews, focus groups and exit interviews
Conducts various HR onboarding & offboarding tasks including background checks, drug testing, reference checking and corporate employee status announcements
Assist in managing company events, social activities, birthday & anniversary recognition, icebreaker games, trivia, teambuilding activities etc. that nurture our values and company culture
Manages the off-boarding process, ensuring security of company data and records
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files & records, including job descriptions, as well as documentation including corrective disciplinary actions logs
Partners with managers on Performance Improvement Plans to ensure proper records and support a successful outcome for both the employee and the company
Partners with managers on annual training and development including monthly reporting throughout year
Responsible for rollout of required Federal and State statutory trainings and maintain current labor law posters
Partners with senior leaders to develop & administer HR Programs such as: Career Pathing, Coaching & Mentoring programs
Manage and process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution of employee compensation.
Coordinate and administer the annual benefits open enrollment process, including employee communications, system updates, and vendor collaboration.
Oversee the annual review and update of the employee handbook to ensure compliance with current laws, company policies, and best practices.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain recruiting certifications to ensure we are using the most up to date technologies and recruitment practices
Maintain daily timesheet and expense report entries and submit them accurately and timely
Other duties as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum 3+ years relevant recruiting experience
Minium 3+ years of HR generalist experience, with a strong understanding of core HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, and policy compliance.
Recruiter Certifications a plus
Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Maintains membership in SHRM
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Use of computer and office equipment
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Valid driver's license in your state of residence and reliable personal vehicle
