We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team. This person will work as a member of a highly skilled cross functional team to provide technical expertise for computer electronic components as part of the C5ISR’s Replication Evaluation and Mitigation Branch. Your experience will be used to create tools, training aids and other technical resources for U.S. Military service members and first responders. You will also work to replicate threats for training and evaluation to help build mitigation strategies that will be integrated with the U.S. Military. Your team will use cutting edge technology to further innovation for the U.S. Army’s Research Development Training and Evaluation (RDT&E) effort.
TThis role requires a highly skilled technician to perform validation and regression testing, including simulations, laboratory assessments, and field system testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in RF systems, analog and digital electronics, and experience in field support operations.
This position operates on a multi-year program.
Responsibilities
Perform testing and validation of assembled devices utilizing test equipment and completing rework/repair where necessary.
Fabricate both prototype and product devices (PCBs, cable assemblies, etc.) – with a focus on quality utilizing excellent soldering, pick & place, and mechanical assembly techniques.
Support rapid prototyping and reverse engineering of both Uncrewed Systems and Commercial Threat technology.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of hardware configuration issues, electrical devices, and soldering defects.
Troubleshoot and repair fielded systems while deployed in field and assist with component specifications and documentation
Support documentation, training, and data collection during field deployments.
Coordinate closely with engineering teams to support design improvements and product validation.
Provide support for inventory management, lab safety, and technical resources to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
This position operates onsite on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday.

Qualifications
CLEARANCE:
Active and current TS/SCI. This position is not open for clearance sponsorship, upgrade, or reactivation.
EDUCATION:
Associates degree and 8 or more years of relevant experience; Or,
High school diploma or GED and 12 or more years of relevant experience; Or,
2-year Tech School and 12 or more years of relevant experience; Or,
No degree and 12 years of military experience as an E6 and up.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Extensive demonstrated experience in electrical and RF systems integration, testing, and support.
Hands-on experience with RF systems, analog/digital troubleshooting, soldering, and electrical diagnostics.
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, layout design, and mechanical integration.
Familiarity with testing protocols and related government acceptance processes.
Proficient in tools and platforms including LabVIEW, Proteus, AutoCAD, WASP, and Microsoft Office.
Experience managing technical projects, lab operations, production timelines, and personnel.
Experience in soldering, assembly, and inspection of electronic components
Hands-on experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong visual acuity for inspecting small components and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience supporting military systems and operational field training.
Familiarity with program management tools such as Microsoft Project.
Ability to develop and lead training sessions for field teams.
Knowledge of safety compliance standards and inventory control processes.
Assembly and Soldering: Perform soldering and assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount (SMT) and through-hole techniques
Inspection: Examine assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards
Testing: Operate equipment to verify the functionality of completed assemblies
Documentation: Record assembly steps and inspection results for quality tracking
Adherence to Protocols: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and workplace safety standards
Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in assembly, soldering, and inspection of electronic components to support the Design Verification Test (DVT) build
