Job Description

A general contractor providing building, mechanical, rigging and electrical construction services to the industrial market, including planning, consulting and installation is seeking a Site Superintendent. The Company's activities extend to power projects and infrastructure, plants and industrial machinery, finance, logistics and information industry, and real estate development and construction. Additionally, they conduct business investment, development, and management on a global level.

The company’s construction experience includes a broad range of industrial projects, including automotive manufacturing, chemical, textile, plant relocation, equipment installation, direct & indirect process utility installation, ground up manufacturing plant construction. The Site Superintendent assists the Project Manager by managing designated field activities associated with the project and supervision of designated field construction work by subcontractors and employees. The Site Superintendent assists the project team to ensure the project is built on time, within budget, and in accordance with policies, procedures, and the focus of the vision and purpose through Service, Talent and Choices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience.

Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines.

Ability to organize people, tools, and equipment and plan/manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.

Exhibits commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and making necessary changes, using customer input to make improvements, and meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).

Industrial experience preferred.

Familiarity with a wide variety of field concepts, practices and procedures

Working knowledge of and ability to apply OSHA safety standards

Working knowledge of construction contract language and terms
