Project Portfolio Manager

IDR is seeking a Project Portfolio Manager to join one of our top clients in Arlington, TX. This person will be leading and managing complex, large-scale IT projects and programs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.

Position Overview:

The Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing departmental and enterprise-level technology projects throughout the full project lifecycle. This role includes managing project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Key responsibilities include evaluating and selecting appropriate technology solutions, serving as the liaison between departments and hardware/software vendors, and coordinating efforts between IT teams and departmental stakeholders to implement chosen solutions effectively.

Top Skills:

3+ years of experience within Project & Portfolio Management / PPM within PMO - Handling setting PMO standards, project prioritization, resource allocation, & budget management

3 + years' experience managing large technology projects including SaaS implementations and ongoing enterprise application support.

Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute).

Nice to Have:

Experience supporting projects in public safety or law enforcement environments.

Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to ITSM platform replacement initiatives and/or VoIP system implementations

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, Mathematics, or related field.
