Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration units.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and system efficiency.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues within HVAC systems.

Perform cleaning, adjustments, system repairs, and warranty service work as required.

Maintain accurate service records and generate detailed job reports.

Ensure all work complies with current HVAC codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair options, and recommended solutions.

Provide guidance to customers on energy-efficient solutions and potential system upgrades.

Manage and maintain an inventory of necessary tools, parts, and supplies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of commercial HVAC experience.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety policies, and procedure manuals.

Skilled in writing clear and concise reports and communicating effectively in both one-on-one and small group settings.

Must consistently adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Valid S2 or D2 license required.

Possession of all necessary HVAC certifications and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
