Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Financial Additions has partnered with a DFW client looking for a strategic finance leader to head up our Financial Planning & Analysis function. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while partnering closely with senior leadership to support decision-making and drive business results. The Director will manage a team and play a key role in shaping financial strategy and operational efficiency. The role acts a business unit CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

Deliver concise, insight-driven financial reporting and analysis to leadership

Support strategic initiatives through modeling and scenario planning

Collaborate with departments to align financial goals with business objectives

Manage and mentor a team of analysts

Identify risks and opportunities, recommending actions to stay on track

Support ad hoc projects and continuous improvement efforts
